Wasn't Sir Adam Beck Public School here once upon a time?




 I have approached from the back



Only a memorial wall remains of the old school.

is that the tennis court area back there, or the outdoor ice rink?

back in grades 9 & 10 [early 1960s] I played tennis here occasionally - not too well, but it was fun at the time.

in the late 1950s early 1960s I played hockey for the Queensway Lions league. 


When there was the end of year all-star games I was in goal for our team when we sometimes played here against the Alderwood league.
